We toured the rice fields today and got to eat lunch with the people and ask them questions and they asked us questions. It was really fun. But so hot I thought we were all going to die! The church is here teaching the Cambodian people how to farm their rice. It was cool to see all the things they were learning.

A group of us also got to go to church this morning at the Vietnamese branch. We got there and our guide asked the branch manager if he wanted a few of us to bear our testimony's and he said yes. So Mike, (of course) asked me and another kid to bear ours. So I got to get up and bear my testimony while this missionary from Layton translated to the people. It was a really good experience. Good thing that teaching relief society has made me unafraid of talking to crowds!

We have also seen a lot about the Khmer Rouge here and the war. I have pics to show you when I get home. We fly out again tomorrow up to Northern Cambodia to do more touring. We are all so exhausted but we have been having fun together. I have had some pretty good laughs about the things we see here. you would not believe the driving. The stops signs and lane painting are useless here, the people drive in both lanes and every which way and they use the horn as their turn signal. It is really a site.

I made it

Well it is 7:30 am in Cambodia, and it is like 500 degrees. Can't wait to go outside and start sweating. I did not bring my cord to download pictures so you will have to wait until I get home to see this world over here.

It ha seen interesting to say the least. We toured Hong Kong yesterday and other than that we have been on a airplane/bus/airport, so hopefully now that we are finally here we can start to see more.

I will update when I can.

Five days

I have five more days before I am on a plane to China and Cambodia.... (And five more days before Megan and Aaron go to St. George, HEE HEE)

It has been such a busy couple of weeks that blogging has been put on the back burner. I am going to try to post some pictures while I am on my trip. We will see how many Internet cafes are in Cambodia...

Wish me luck and I will keep you posted.
